Elin and Runar live in Xiamen with their two sons. They offenly perform on the stages of Xiamen as well as on the stage of Heima Bistro. They felt in love with the city, which became a great partner on the way of living life full of music and art.
Musicians Elin and Runar- an icelandic couple left Reykjavik, Iceland in 2006 and decided to move to Xiamen, China. First, they resided on Gulang island, where the first songs of their upcoming album "The Long Road Home" had been written. Later on, while walking near Zhongshan Park they spotted a villa that was just about to be knocked down. They were both amazed by its beauty hence they immediately decided to rent it and transform into Heima Bistro.
